Gathering around a table and sharing a meal has been the forever, tried-and-true method of bringing people closer together So, we’ve whipped up a little “Dining Out Cheat Sheet” of local Hunt Country restaurants, bakeries, breweries, wineries and markets to give you plenty of reason to call up your friends and family, make those reservations, and support the array of talented Hunt Country chefs, bakers, vintners, brewers and more that dish up beautiful food and drink with love and passion.

The Whole Ox
Our absolute favorite hometown butcher. Burgers, fries, and lunch specials not to miss. Get the Big Ox with a large fries and thank us later.

The Market at Bluewater Kitchen
One of the most beautiful markets we have ever seen, check out their website for seasonal features like weekend specials and more. The super-duper food salad and truffles fries are our go-to.

The Locke Store
We just can’t say enough good things about this store and deli, The Locke Club is a favorite. And their wine selection is well curated. Make sure to check their website for daily menus and features!

Sunday Brunch at the Buttery (part of the Locke Store) is an absolute MUST. If you don’t order the hot, straight out of the oven, cinnamon rolls then we can’t be friends.

The Upper Crust
A Hunt Country classic, favorite, and icon that has withstood the test of time. A visit to Middleburg, VA requires a stop at the Upper Crust, or as the locals call it, “The Bakery”.
